8" double-wide rails and double-end stiles apply only to larger glass garage doors and are not available as options for smaller single car garage doors. If you are ordering a 16’3” or wider door as well as a single door, check with your dealer to ensure that the door frames match. Contact your Wayne Dalton dealer if you have additional questions.

RAL Powder Coat

Wayne Dalton also offers approximately 200 powder coat options to complement the exterior colors of a building.

Tempered safety glass, acrylic or solid panels are available in a wide variety of colors, tints and styles. Most panel styles are also available in both single pane and insulated configurations.

Construction

1. Effective Joint Seals – Snug-fitting tongue-and-groove section joints help prevent wind and weather from entering the garage.
   
   
2. Reinforcing fins on all top sections, and as needed on intermediate sections, provide years of smooth, trouble-free operation. The fins are the extruded part of the door sections and are not visible through the glass

 

Optional Insulated Frame

Insulated rails and stiles are available as an option. Foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation fills the rails and stiles providing enhanced thermal efficiency that adds R-value* of up to 4.06 on the door.

*Wayne Dalton uses a calculated door section R-value for our insulated doors.
