The Family Handyman’s Game Day Shed

Wayne Dalton Garage Doors Completes The Family Handyman’s Game Day Shed

Published:

Each July, The Family Handyman, a leading home-improvement magazine, reveals a shed project for its readers to draw inspiration and recreate, whether that be for practical uses like storing tools or a backyard entertaining space such as a game day shed. This year, Wayne Dalton teamed up with The Family Handyman to create a one-of-a-kind game day shed using a Model 8850 Aluminum Full-View garage door featuring a clear anodized frame and clear glass for a modern look that offers maximum visibility.

“The Family Handyman did a fantastic job incorporating Model 8850’s sleek design to enhance their game day shed by using a full-view garage door in place of a traditional wall. Those utilizing the game day shed can leave the door open to feel the outdoor breeze or close it while still enjoying a view of the yard,” said Wayne Dalton Brand Manager Sarah Schram.

Installed by Hollywood-Crawford Door Co., Model 8850 garage doors are designed to seamlessly fuse indoor and outdoor spaces, thanks to their glass full-view panels.

Primary features of Model 8850 include a rugged, anodized aluminum frame, tongue-and-groove joints, and reinforced fins with a heavy-duty track and brackets for years of smooth, trouble-free operation.
