Celebrating 25 Years with Wayne Dalton

At Wayne Dalton, we believe in recognizing employees who serve as role models for their community and inspire others to dream big. On October 20, we honored longtime employee, Mario Cespedes, as he celebrated his 25th work anniversary.

When he was 20 years old, Mario immigrated from Colombia to the greater Los Angeles area. After working at McDonald’s and running his own video store for two years, Mario joined Wayne Dalton where he found a career and a home. Starting in shipping and receiving at one of the company’s largest sales centers in Chino, California, over the past 25 years he’s worked himself up to warehouse and traffic control supervisor of the Chino Sales Center.

To celebrate this milestone, both current and past Chino Sales Center employees, as well as Mario’s family, surprised him with a party to honor his success as an example of the “American Dream.”

In recognition of his service, Mario received letters and certificates from an impressive list of dignitaries including Chino Mayor Eunice M. Ulloa, California Congresswoman Norma Torres, U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein and even President Donald Trump.

When asked about future plans, Mario replied, “I plan to stay with Wayne Dalton for as long as they’ll have me.”

Thank you for all of your hard work, Mario. Our company is honored to have you as a part of the team and we look forward to you achieving many more milestones.
