Wayne-Dalton Ad Earns Top Finalist Honors
MT. HOPE, OH (4/20/2007)
A Wayne-Dalton print advertisement won a “Top Five Finalist” award in the seventh annual Door & Access Systems (DASMA) Advertisement of the Year competition. Rick Sedivy, DASMA president, presented the award to Jeff Franklin, Wayne-Dalton Executive Vice-President, Worldwide Sales, Marketing, Distribution at the association's annual meeting.
Wayne-Dalton’s “Multiple Choice” ad appeared in several issues of Door & Access Systems in 2006. The ad, selected from more than 100 entries and 15 finalists, used the “multiple choice” concept to demonstrate the variety of new styles and designs found in the Wayne-Dalton garage door line-up.

The judging panel was composed of 11 independent judges, including nine design experts and two industry observers. Most of the judges have more than 20 years of experience in marketing and advertising. None of the judges were employed by any DASMA member company.
The panel assessed each ad on the basis of creativity, attractive design, helpful copy, integrity/professionalism, and overall effectiveness. All ads that appeared in Door & Access Systems magazine in 2006 were considered as entries.
