Genie® comes through with launch of dynamic new garage door openers

After an incredible amount of research, development, and testing, it is with great fanfare that The Genie Company® announces the release of its next generation of Genie Professional Line residential garage door openers, the TriloG™ 1500 and 1200 (direct drive screw), and the IntelliG™ 1200 and 1000 (belt or chain drive).

The word "incredible" is not used lightly. Over three years ago, Genie began the quest to take its product offering to an all-new level. It began with an exhaustive consumer research study - "The Voice of the Customer". From that extensive fact gathering mission came the blood, sweat, and tears of cranking out design and performance into openers which the research revealed was demanded by homeowners and builders alike, such as high quality and performance, strength, sound, and many safety and convenience features.

Need power? How about a140V DC motor? (Yes, you read correctly - an ultra-powerful 140V DC motor - Genie dares you to find one stronger!) Need quiet? How about an unbelievable belt drive and c-channel rail system with smooth start and stop (thanks to the DC motor) that will blow you away (in a quiet manner, of course!).

Frequency concern with a military base, local cell phone tower or other source? No problem - Genie has you covered with an auto-seek dual frequency capability that operates on both 315 and 390 MHz frequencies, automatically choosing the best operating level for its specific location. That's smart.

The IntelliG 1200 provides the ultimate in convenience with a powerhead integrated motion detecting lighting system and an adjustable opening speed of up to 9 in. per second. If you need even faster opening speeds, then you will want one of the direct drive screw openers: TriloG 1500 (up to 12 in. per second) or TriloG 1200 (up to 10 in. per second). With an expanded rail selection, these openers can handle sectional garage doors up to 14 ft. high.
