Optional decorative hardware applied to sectional garage doors help create the look of genuine split, swing doors. TorqueMaster® is Wayne-Dalton’s exclusive counterbalance system that safely and cleanly contains the springs inside a steel tube. This helps prevent injury that could result from the accidental release of tension. Having the springs contained in the metal tube also looks much better than exposed springs and prevents the collection of dirt and grime on them. |
| Pinch-resistant door panels

The Wayne-Dalton pinch-resistant garage door design is engineered to help
eliminate injuries caused when fingers are caught in door panel joints during
downward operation of the door. This is an important feature to Wayne-Dalton
doors, as there can be injuries associated with standard garage door
operation.

| Our Model 9400 garage doors have an R-value of 8. The doors are manufactured with polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation using a patented process. Polyurethane insulation delivers twice the thermal performance of polysterene insulation of the same thickness! It also adds strength and rigidity to the door panels and helps dampen sound transmission. |

In addition to insulation, our doors have a bottom weather seal. The bottom weather seal blocks drafts and helps save energy. It remains flexible even in extreme cold to keep the bad weather outside. |

The Model 9400 comes with a Lifetime Limited Warranty.
Wayne-Dalton warrants the 9400 insulated garage door for as long as you own the door from the time of installation against structural failure (rendering the door inoperable) of the door sections due to separation/ degradation of foam insulation. Wayne-Dalton warrants the steel skin of the 9400 insulated garage door for as long as you own the door against deterioration such as cracking or splitting due to rust-through. Other items apply. |
