TorqueMaster® safety counterbalance
Your garage door uses the energy of a spring wound very tightly (called a counterbalance) to help lift your door's weight. The Wayne-Dalton TorqueMaster® is the first counterbalance to seal springs safely within a steel tube.
This design helps prevent the accidental release of tension that could cause serious injury. Plus it looks much better and cleaner.
The TorqueMaster® counterbalance does not come standard with all Wayne-Dalton garage doors, so make sure you ask your dealer or retailer to include TorqueMaster® with your purchase. Considering how many years your new garage door will last, you'll be glad (and safer) that you did.
Bottom weather seal
The Model 8000 has a bottom weather seal. The bottom weather seal blocks drafts and helps save energy. It remains flexible even in extreme cold to keep the bad weather outside.
Windload options
Wayne-Dalton doors are available with Windload options in areas with the toughtest windload requirements. Engineered with special materials and hardware, Wayne-Dalton Windload Certified Garage Doors resist the severest storms. Warranty
The Manufacturer warrants the 8000, 8100, and 8200 garage doors for a period of TEN YEARS from the time of installation against deterioration such as cracking or splitting due to rust-through. Other conditions and exceptions contained herein apply.
The Manufacturer warrants the garage door hardware and track, excluding springs, against defects in workmanship or material for a period of TEN YEARS from time of installation.
